OBC COMMITTEE
The OBC cell of the college was established with the purpose of empowering the OBC communities in the region. The college takes special interest in facilitating financial support to students from these communities from government.
Mission
• To improve the performance, provide guidelines and counseling with respect to academic , financial, social and other matters to OBC groups.
• To extend all the services to OBC groups and look after welfare of these communities.
• To provide opportunity and facilitation to the deprived groups for learning and creating space for them to mainstream themselves.
Vision
To oversees the effective implementation of policies and programs for the needy groups and to act as source of strength by providing psychological and monetary assistance in order to achieve equality and social-justice.
Objectives
• All affairs related to OBC students.
• OBC cell has been created in the college to resolve all the affairs and problems related to the OBC students of the college.
• To take such follow up measures for achieving the objectives and targets laid down for the purpose by the Government of India and the UGC.
• To aware the OBC students regarding various scholarships programs of State Government and UGC.
